Again. A blogpost in the Midnight Hour. Why? Well, by now you should know the answer to that question. Anyway, when I met my brother today, cause we were going to an appointment, he let me listen to a funky song. I forgot the title, but the mood was set. It was meant to be a great day. And it turned out to be one.
Ludwig is a trendy coffeebar in de Eerste van Swindenstraat in Amsterdam and George, the owner, invited us to have a drink and a chat because he was interested in Joshua’s illustrations. Oh yeah, this was made possible through social media, so… thank you Sunita. You should visit her site, she connects people. She really is The Social Connector.
So here is the big news… I am happy and pleased to let you in on a scoop… Joshua will have his long awaited exhibition in Ludwig (this is the Facebook page where you soon can find the updates). February 12th, 2012. Don’t miss it.
When I headed home, I stopped by beause there was a concert at Dam Square. Musicalstar Linda Wagenmakers was recording a Christmas show right before National Television. It was rainy, cold an windy. But there she stood, in her golden dress, laughing, enjoying. Singing her song. Doing what she does best. And that’s all we can do. We should do, what we do best. And we should enjoy it. This was a great day.
